My Story
After years and years of “dieting” from an age that was far too young to have ever been concerned with such topics, I finally found what worked for my nutritional needs: losing over 100 lb of excess weight, engaging in regular strength training, and found cardiovascular activities that I enjoyed. I went from being athletically challenged and overweight, to finding freedom from every “heavy thing” that was keeping me from soaring in life; although if you asked me then I would have told you it was purely physical.

​After pleas from friends and family I became certified in personal training and opened my own private studio in 2017. I shed the fear of leaving my full-time job as a behavior therapist (which comes in handy!) and set out to inspire others to lean into another way of living. I quickly realized that there was much more to exercise programming.
I believed that the recurring pain my clients experienced was due to movement compensations, and the excess weight was due to lifestyle and food choices alone. So, I studied and received the next two certifications in Corrective Exercise, and Nutrition Coaching. Now, I believed I would be able to free my clients from their pain and weight for good.

After years of practice and 100’s of beautiful people in and out, I again embarked on another healing journey when I started connecting the dots that nothing external would be able to free us from what was bound internally. Stuck/unprocessed emotions, trauma, unwitnessed parts of our authentic selves, societal programs that are misaligned with our deepest desires- all of it was the root to the reoccurring physical pain, to the excess weight.
This realization has to date been the biggest shift in my life and career. It changed how I approached my clients, asking them to challenge their thoughts, beliefs and showing them ways to access their bodies as the intelligent source of information that it is.
Now, each client builds and decides what their bodies are asking of them by moving seamlessly between services as needed. My clients become increasingly aware of their needs, their thoughts, and how they affect their choices bringing them to longer lasting results.
